Description (Service)
  • Assists with enhancing member community's management, administration and quality of life by delivering financial, management and governance advisory services 
  • Advises the Board of Directors about current trends, events, policies or circumstances in or outside the Tribal Council area which may impact on the goals as established by the Board 
  • Collaborates with the First Nations to address financial and personnel management by providing capacity development to local managers, administration staff, health centers and nursing stations  
  • Provides support for preparation of funding proposals for various community initiatives  
  • Maintains and updates resources on management practices and documentation, policies and procedures, and governance codes; available for community use upon request 
  • Maintains bookkeeping and acts as benefits administrator for WBAFN personnel
Hours Mon-Fri 8 am-4:30 pm
Areas Served Dokis First Nation ; Henvey Inlet First Nation ; Magnetawan First Nation ; Nipissing First Nation ; Wahnapitae First Nation ; Wasauksing First Nation
Eligibility Must belong to one of the member First Nations within the Waabnoong Bemjiwang Association of First Nations (WBAFN) Territory
Application Services are delivered to community members at the local level (Band Office)
Languages English ; Interpretive Services - Ojibwe, available upon request
