Public Comments A public information session is held every Tue morning at the Barrydowne Campus, Rm 2253 at 10:30 am
Description (Service)
  • Provides literacy and basic skills training, including numeracy, digital, communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Helps learners prepare for employment, apprenticeship, secondary-school credit, post-secondary education and greater independence
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4 pm 
Classes are offered during days and evenings
Areas Served Birch Island ; Espanola ; Massey ; Nairn and Hyman Township
Eligibility
  • Ontario residents 19 years and older, with reading, writing and math skills below Grade 12 of the Ontario Curriculum 
  • Must have facility in English
