Description (Service)
  • Offers a client based program for individuals living with arthritis 
  • Assesses and provides a variety of services and ideas to assist people of all ages living with arthritis
 
Teaches individuals with a confirmed diagnosis of arthritis how to adapt in the following areas 
  • Pain Management 
  • Medication updates 
  • Exercises to reduce stiffness, increase strength and improve fitness  
  • Protecting joints and the use of helpful devices  
  • Coping with the emotional impact of arthritis  
  • How family can help 
  • Referrals to other services in the community that can help
Hours Mon-Fri 9 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4 pm
Areas Served Elliot Lake ; Espanola ; Manitoulin Island ; North Bay ; Sturgeon Falls ; Sudbury District
Eligibility Individuals with a confirmed diagnosis of arthritis
