Description (Service) Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the community members  
  • Offers many private businesses including Pine Needle Productions, The Tin Box, Stan Saikkonen Upholstery, Sage Management Solutions/TLC Landscaping, R&J Fuels, Bob's Smoke Shop and others 
  • Provides community stores such as Andy's Convenience and Lakeview Variety 
  • Serviced by flights through the Sudbury Airport approx 20 min from community 
  • Publishes a weekly news flyer for community members available in Band Office or on website 
  • Offers a new polling system on website for members only to express views and complete surveys on current issues affecting community 
  • Coordinates community events and activities at the Community Centre 
  • Offers rentals of Community Centre for get togethers, dances, birthdays, baby showers, meetings, and other community events 
  • Hosts an annual Pow Wow in July
