Description (Service)
  • Provides transportation for community members to travel to their scheduled medical appointments (doctor, dentist, optometrist) for pre-approved health services within the city of Sudbury 
  • Provides assistance with making arrangements for any medical appointments out of town if required
Hours Health Office: Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm 
Summer: Mon-Thu 8 am-4:30 pm * Fri 8 am-12 noon

Eligibility Members of Wahnapitae First Nation who require assistance with medical transportation due to illness, injury or age (50 years and over)

  • Requires written proof of medical appointment  
  • Requires 24 hour advance booking  
  • Advance cancellation recommended
