Description (Service) Provides the following support services for community elders and families that have members with disabilities 
  • Assistance in their residence with routine household activities such as light housekeeping, laundry, shopping and meal preparation 
  • Personal care help with activities such as dressing and bathing  
  • Basic foot care  
  • Teaching the individual in need to care for themselves  
  • Respite for family members and caregivers 
  • Light home maintenance including snow removal and grass cutting
Hours Health Office: Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm 
Summer: Mon-Thu 8 am-4:30 pm * Fri 8 am-12 noon

Eligibility Members of Wahnapitae First Nation who require assistance in their home due to illness, disabiity or age (50 years and over)

  • Initial intake assessment required  
  • Home visits require prior arrangements
