Description (Service) Promotes healthy individuals, families and communities  
  • Coordinates services for community seniors to allow them to remain in their own home as long as possible 
  • Supports reduction or prevention of family and community violence  
  • Provides culturally appropriate support services, resources, educational materials, and workshops to address community wellness needs  
  • Participates in and assists to organize community events such as Winter Carnival, Aboriginal Day, Summer Blueberry Picking trips, and Annual Traditional Pow Wow  
  • Promotes a culturally appropriate approach to healing and wellness
 
Services and health programs include: 
  • Home support for seniors to live independently in own home 
  • Nutrition information, education and activities such as nutrition bingo 
  • Congregate dining 
  • Socialization 
  • Support to access other services and amenities
Hours Mon-Thu 8:30 am-4:30 pm, Fri 8 am-11 am
