Description (Service)
  • Provides individuals with a developmental and/or intellectual disability the opportunity to live with a family and share in the activities of a family home 
  • Provides support workers who coordinate specialized services, medical appointments, respite, community links and recreation to ensure both the home provider and the individual is receiving adequate support in the home 
  • Home providers receive training, support and supervision, and go through a process of interviews as well as fire and health inspection of the home and a police check
