Description & Services
Description (Service) Supports individuals with mental health and substance related problems who are involved in the criminal justice system
Offers the following services: 
Mental Health Court Outreach 
  • Supports individuals in the court system, collaborates with legal counsel, family members, and assists with bail release planning
Release from Custody 
  • Provides case management to individuals who are incarcerated by assisting with the release process and up to three months after release 
  • Assists individuals with accessing community resources to meet their basic needs
Mental Health Diversion 
  • Supports individuals who have been charged with a minor offence 
  • Provides case management services such as referrals, advocacy, and education to assist in recovery
Youth Mental Health Court Outreach 
  • Supports youth involved in the criminal justice system 
  • Provides court support, mental health diversion, advocacy, and education
Hours Mon-Tue, Thu-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm * Wed 8:30 am-6 pm
Areas Served Manitoulin District ; Sudbury District
Eligibility Ages: 18 year(s) and up 
Adults involved in the court system who: 
  • Have a mental health diagnosis, or  
  • Present mental health symptoms
Youth Mental Health Court Outreach 
Youth 12 to 17 years of age
Application Referrals can come from legal counsel, family members, friends, community organizations, police
