  • Provides Stage 1 hearing screening for newborn infants 
  • Provides audiology services for those who are deemed high risk for hearing loss and/or have a referral to the program 
  • Offers communication development intervention through auditory verbal therapists, sign language instructors, speech language pathology services or a combination of the above mentioned services 
  • Offers family support services
 
North Bay Regional health Health Centre is the lead agency for the Northeast Infant Hearing Program (IHP) and provides Regional Training and Coordination of all the Northeast IHP screeners
