Description (Service)
  • Operates an 8-bed facility that offers a residential treatment program for children and youth who are experiencing psychological difficulties within the home or community setting 
  • Focus is for reintegration into the family or acceptable social setting 
  • Provides intervention services in a supportive and structured environment to enable the child/youth to develop skills 
  • Counselling is offered in the following areas but not limited to anger issues, relationships, thinking errors, grief/loss/separation, self-esteem and life skills, and social skills 
  • Offers the services for a minimum stay of six months 
  • Also provides two beds used for crisis placements, with a maximum stay of 72 hours 
  • Provides referrals to an existing network of other services required
Hours Office Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm 
Service Mon-Sun 24 hours
Areas Served Cochrane District ; James Bay ; Timiskaming District
Eligibility Ages: 12 year(s) - 15 year(s)
