  • Offers a wide range of community-based and culturally appropriate programs and services to Métis people 
  • Participates in community development activities that promote cultural diversity and partnership development with other Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal agencies
 
Addresses the needs of Métis people by providing the following programs and services: 
  • Healing and Wellness Branch, Métis Family Wellbeing Program
 
Council 
  • Provides advocacy and deals with political issues for North Channel Métis Nation 
  • Assists individuals and families with issues such as membership and genealogy

Boundaries From Blind River, West along N shore of Lake Huron to St Joseph Island as far as the Canada/US border, North along St Mary's River to Ranger Lake, East to Rocky Island Lake, South through town of Elliott Lake to the N shore of Lake Huron and back to Blind River
