Description (Service)
  • Facilitates access to diverse traditional healing services and cultural ceremonies for member communities 
  • Coordinates annual Gatherings which provide a wide variety of Anishnaabek based teachings, ceremonies and activities identified by the communities 
  • Delivers a workshop called "Weaving Mind, Body and Spirit into Presentation Development & Facilitation", as well as various cross-cultural training workshops
Hours Office Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30 am-12 noon, 12:30 pm-4 pm
Areas Served Atikameksheng Anishnawbek First Nation ; Batchewana First Nation ; Garden River First Nation ; Mississauga First Nation ; Sagamok Anishnawbek First Nation ; Serpent River First Nation ; Thessalon First Nation ; Urban Indigenous population in Sault Ste Marie
Boundaries Naughton to Sault Ste Marie (Atikameksheng Anishnawbek to Indigenous Friendship Centre - Sault Ste Marie)
Eligibility Must belong to one of the member North Shore Tribal First Nations or the Indian Friendship Centre in Sault Ste Marie
