Description (Service)
  • Helps individuals who have suffered an acquired brain injury increase their participation in meaningful activities 
  • Provides assessment, treatment, education, and consultation 
  • Provides intervention for specific rehabilitation goals in the areas of self-care (bathing, dressing), productivity (work, housework) and leisure (sports, hobbies)
 
Services provided include: 
  • Cognitive assessment and treatment 
  • Perceptual assessment and treatment 
  • Upper extremity assessment and treatment 
  • Activities of Daily Living (ADL) assessment and treatment 
  • Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL) assessment and treatment
Hours Mon-Fri 8 am-4 pm
Areas Served Algoma District
Eligibility Individuals who have suffered an acquired brain injury
Application
  • A physician’s referral is required for service 
  • Must have a valid Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) Card
